If you haven’t heard it yourself, I bet you know a family member or friend who has. This is the part of the joint that cushions the ends of bones. It causes the bones to rub against each other. This causes pain and loss of movement. It most commonly affects middle-aged and older people. Osteoarthritis can range from very mild to very severe. It affects hands and weight-bearing joints such as the knees, hips, feet and the back.

There are many factors that can cause osteoarthritis, and although age is a risk factor, research has shown that osteoarthritis is not an inevitable part of aging! There are many causes including obesity, joint injuries and genetics. As a person ages, these defects may cause early cartilage breakdown in the joint which could cause inflammation, a release of enzymes, and more cartilage damage. What if I told you arthritis has a reasonable explanation most doctors and scientists have completely overlooked? What if I told you with this knowledge, it may be possible to slow down the progression of arthritis and ease the pain? And what if I told you I have scientific proof to back it up? So what do you do when the front end of your car’s alignment is messed up? You take it to the mechanic to get an alignment. The joints in your spine CAN misalign…causing them to unnaturally move or not move at all. Witch ever it is, this can cause abnormal stress and strain. Your joints are like the tires of your car and just like the tires on your car when the front end is out of alignment…your joints wear out. This is…Osteo or Degenerative Arthritis!

How do you fix it?

It is simple. Take a look at what you did when the front end of your automobile was out of alignment. You went to someone who specializes in detecting and correcting misaligned vehicles. Understand that your mechanic didn’t put something in your gas tank or oil to try to chemically realign your wheels. That obviously wouldn’t make sense. He simply realigned the wheels and that fixed your car. The same is true with your body. What makes you think taking a drug or rubbing some kind of lotion will realign your joints? Bed bugs live on human or animal blood, they prefer humans to animals. We call them bed bugs because they like to invade our beds, and at night while we are asleep is their favorite time to feed. Even though they were almost eliminated in the 1940’s, they showed back up during the middle of the 1990’s. The following will help you learn about bed bugs and bed bug pictures.

Parasites are definitely original, and they are made to survive, and they do. They are considerably smaller and weaker than their host, and yet they are able to multiply so rapidly. Although the bed bug is not restricted to feeding at night, it prefers to do so. A bed bug can have a longer life span if it is able to feed regularly.

The full-grown bed bug can range from between four to five millimeters long, and one and one-half to three millimeters wide. These adults are a red-brown color and they have tiny hairs on them. When the babies are born, they are almost completely see-through, and start to get coloring as they molt and become adults.

Bed bugs have a chemical communication system between them, they use both pheromones and kairomones to signal one another. By secreting these chemicals, they are able to indicate to another the availability of food, if there is prey present, reproductive intent, etc. An interestingly complicated system to squeeze into five millimeters.

The bugs are drawn to us by our warmth, carbon dioxide, and by certain chemicals, that we currently do not know. They prefer to feed when it is still dark and preferably before sunrise, but they will eat in the daytime if they have to. Their normal feeding schedule is approximately every five to ten days, but they can actually survive an entire year without feeding.

These bugs use two tiny tubes in order to feed. Both of these tubes are used simultaneously, while one draws blood, the other is injecting you with saliva. The saliva contains both anticoagulants and a type of anesthetic. These little guys control your pain and clotting while they drink your blood. You may not realize right away that you have a bite. It could take several hours or even days before you itch or see a mark.

If you feel the need to start checking for bed bugs, switch to white sheets and it will make them easier to spot. Look for their droppings, and also tiny blood spots on the sheets.
