Capsaicin nasal sprays such as Sinus Buster and Sinol have helped many sinusitis and sinus allergy sufferers.
The active ingredient of Sinus Buster and Sinol is capsaicin. Capsaicin reduces substance P which is a chemical that plays a large part in causing inflammation. The capsaicin can also desensitize the sinus passages to allergens therefore Sinus Buster and Sinol can provide long term benefits for sufferers of sinus allergies. Sinus Buster and Sinol relieves nasal congestion, sinus pressure, sinus headaches, runny nose and sneezing. Sinus Buster and Sinol have no known drug interactions and should be completely safe to use regularly for chronic conditions. Although many people benefit from using these products, similar to all natural and pharmaceutical drugs, they do not help and are not liked by everyone. The manufacturer of Sinus Buster clearly states that upon initial use you may experience a powerful burning sensation, increased nasal discharge and sneezing. Although these sensations are part of the nasal sprays process which in turn provides the symptom relief, for many these sensations are just not worth the end result.
Where you find capsaicin nasal sprays to be ineffective or not to your liking SinuSoothe 100% Natural Nasal Spray is a great alternative. It does not cause this powerful burning sensation, yet provides all of the same benefits and more. It is also a far more potent anti-bacterial and anti-fungal formula. It contains a more complex array of natural active ingredients namely, the essential oils of cinnamon, cumin, frankincense, ginger, manuka, tea tree and turmeric. Scientific studies have shown that similar to capsaicin, ginger is a Cox 1 and Cox 2 inhibitor and reduces substance P, but unlike capsaicin, it doesn’t cause the powerful burning sensation. It is doctor recommended and contains active ingredients that have been clinically proven to have powerful anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-histamine, anti-allergenic, analgesic, anti-inflammatory, expectorant and decongestant properties. Because it is 100% natural it is completely safe to be used daily for chronic conditions. SinuSoothe can be used long term, has no known side effects and is non-addictive. Like capsaicin nasal sprays it provides a ‘quick fix’ by relieving symptoms such as sinus pain, sinus headaches, nasal congestion, runny nose etc. It also provides along term solution since it is extremely effective at killing bacterial and fungal infections and it desensitizes the nasal passages to allergens.
Natural nasal sprays such are a great alternative to over the counter pharmaceutical nasal sprays and are well worth trying.
If you suffer from sinusitis or sinus allergies you should consult your doctor.

Studies have indicated that saline nasal sprays may help treat rhinitis and sinusitis.
They are useful at removing airborne allergens, thinning mucus thereby relieving nasal congestion, moisturizing the nasal passages and keeping the cilia in your nose healthy. Cilia are the small hair-like structures in your nose that help humidify air to your lungs, assist in sinus drainage, trap bacteria etc. and aid your sense of smell.
Isotonic and hypertonic saline nasal sprays are available. Isotonic saline nasal sprays contain the same salt concentration found in the human body whereas hypertonic saline nasal sprays contain a higher level of salt concentration than is found in the human body. Excessive hypertonic solutions can impair cilia movement however they can be more effective at drying out swollen tissue.
Unfortunately many saline nasal sprays contain additives and preservatives such as benzalkonium which can cause side effects and can even be addictive. Therefore it is important to choose a saline nasal spray that contains no additives or preservatives.
Saline nasal sprays are effective for many people however they do not always resolve sinus issues. They are not particluarly effective at killing sinus infections, reducing histamine or relieving sinus pain and headaches.
Natural nasal sprays such as Sinusoothe can be used when saline nasal sprays are not effective. Sinusoothe contains ingedients that have been clinically proven and is doctor recommended. It provides instant relief from sinusitis and nasal allergy symptoms. Since the clinically proven ingredients are suspended in an isotonic saline solution you get all the benefits of saline nasal sprays. In addition it provides a long term solution. It kills bacterial and fungal infections and desensitizes the nasal passages to allergens. Since it contains only natural ingredients it is totally safe to use daily on a long term basis and is non-addictive.
Another good alternative is nasal irrigation. A saline solution (isotonic or hypertonic) is administered to the nasal passages using a neti-pot or similar device. The benefits of this over saline nasal sprays is that a far greater quantity of saline solution is used therefore it can be more effefctive at relieving nasal congestion and flushing out allergens. However the downside is that it is not as convenient as the nasal sprays and the process is not to evereyone’s liking.
It is always best to consult your doctor if you have an existing sinus condition or suspect you have one.

These natural remedies are extremely effective and have helped many sinusitis sufferers.
Chronic sinusitis is a recurrent problem or lasts more than three months. It can be an extremely painful condition and can seriously affect the quality of a persons life.
When nasal congestion occurs due to swollen sinus membranes, this creates a perfect environment for bacterial and fungal infections to take hold.
Acute sinusitis is normally the result of a common cold. Chronic sinusitis is more complex and the bacterial and/or fungal infections can be caused by a variety of reasons such as; a lowered immune system, nasal allergies, obstructed sinuses (nasal polyps or deviated nasal septum), exposure to irritants/pollutants on a regular basis.
There are many symptoms such as; tenderness, pressure and pain in the face and sinuses, headaches, green coloured nasal discharge, post nasdal drip, sore throat, bad breath, nausea, fatigue and lethargy, blocked nose, cough, poor sense of smell, painful ears, teeth and jaws. You may experience one or several of these.
Many people have got rid of their sinus infections by using these proven treatments.
Natural nasal sprays – SinuSoothe in particular is doctor recommended and contains natural ingredients which relieve inflammation, nasal congestion, sinus pain, headaches, removes airborne irritants etc. SinuSoothe is anti-bacterial and anti-fungal and therefore kills any infection present. In addition it contains natural anti-histamines that relieve a runny, itchy nose and sneezing etc. and desensitizes the nasal passages to allergens. It also removes airborne allergens. SinuSoothe can be used long term, is non – addictive and has no side effects. It provides not only a ‘quick fix’ but also a long term solution for sinusitis sufferers.
Saline nasal sprays – Saline nasal sprays such as Sterimar may be useful for moisturising the nasal passages, removing airborne irritants and relieving nasal congestion. They can be either isotonic or hypertonic solutions. These can be used long term, have no side effects and are non-addictive. However they are not particularly useful at reducing histamine (which causes allergic rhinitis). It is completely safe and non-addictive.
Nasal irrigation – A neti pot is used to irrigate the sinuses with either an isotonic or hypertonic solution. An isotonic solution has the same salt concentration as your body. A hypertonic solution has a higher salt content and may be more useful at drawing moisture and mucous from the sinuses. This may help reduce inflammation and relieve nasal congestion. It is a good practice for keeping your sinuses clean and removing irritants. It is completely safe provided you use the correct saline solution.
Reducing histamine – Allergies that cause nasal congestion would benefit from natural anti-histamines. Butterbur and stinging nettle etc. are all excellent and can be just as effective as the OTC anti-histamines. What’s more they don’t cause the side effects associated with their pharmaceutical counterparts.
Reduce stress – Pressure is healthy, stress is not. Stress causes ill health and should be reduced whenever possible. Relaxation and good quality sleep are key and if you find it hard to relax there are plenty of herbs and supplements that can assist you.
Exercise – Exercise has been known to reduce sinusitis symptoms since the endorphins released during exercise act as natural painkiller. It can also improve immune function provided it is not over strenuous. Exercise energises the body.
Boosting immune system – Eating a balanced diet and supplementing with good quality vitamins etc. will improve immune system function and your ability to fight infection. Vitamin C, vitamin B complex, garlic and a multi-vitamin & mineral would help boost your immune system. Your local health food store should be able to advise you.
Reduce inflammation – Natural anti-inflammatories such as omega oils, turmeric and ginger can be just as effective as Ibuprofen etc. but without the side effects. By reducing inflammation in the sinuses you will reduce the symptoms of sinusitis.
Barrier gels – To relieve the symptoms of hay fever special barrier gels can be applied to the inside of the nostrils to prevent pollen from entering the sinuses.
As with all medical conditions you should consult your doctor before undertaking new treatments.

The following treatments are extremely effective and have already helped many sufferers get rid if their sinusitis symptoms such as sinus pain, pressure, headaches and nasal congestion.
Sinusitis, also known as rhinosinusitis, is usually the main cause of sinus pain and is basically the inflammation of the mucus membrane of your sinuses.
Sinus pain may be accompanied by pressure and fullness in your cheeks, brow or forehead (which may worsen when bending forward or lying down), headaches, yellow-green or blood-tinged nasal discharge, sore throat, fever, cough and fatigue.
When sinus drainage is inhibited such as when someone has allergies, the cold, a nasal obstruction etc. there is an increased risk of sinus infections. These infections cause the medical condition sinusitis which can be bacterial and/or fungal. Unfortunately prescribed antibiotics are no longer effective for many types of bacteria due to their over use and are not effective at all for fungal infections.
The following treatments are extremely effective at getting rid of sinus infections and the symptoms of sinusitis.
Firstly, eradicate the infection – Antibiotics can get rid of bacterial infection however they will not get rid of fungal infections or bacterial infections which have become resistant to them. SinuSoothe 100% Natural Nasal Spray eradicates both types of infection and is always effective because it’s unique formula contains a potent mixture of natural antibiotics and anti-fungals. It also provides immediate relief from sinus pain, pressure, headaches and nasal congestion etc.
SinuSoothe is doctor recommended, clinically proven and completely safe. Doctors even use it for their own sinus conditions.
Secondly, relieve the inflammation – Natural anti-inflammatories such as turmeric and omega oils can be taken to relieve the inflammation (sinusitis is after all caused by inflammation). These can be just as effective as Ibuprofen etc. but without the side effects. These anti-inflammatories are only necessary if symptoms still persist after the sinus infection has gone.
Thirdly, reduce histamine – Stinging nettle and butterbur are great at reducing histamine and the associated allergy symptoms such as nasal congestion. They are just as good as pharmaceutical anti-histamines but don’t have the side effects. Natural nasal sprays such as SinuSoothe are great for nasal symptoms and can desensitize the nasal passages to allergens and reduce histamine. Therefore a runny nose, nasal congestion etc. can be relieved.
Fourthly, get healthier – Exercise, improvements in diet, supplementation with vitamins and getting plenty of quality sleep and relaxation time all help boost immune function.
If the sinusitis is caused by nasal polyps or a deviated nasal septum, surgery or balloon sinuplasty may be recommended by your doctor.
When undertaking new treatments it is always advisable to consult a doctor first.
