A More Natural Approach To Healing Your Yeast Infections.

I can’t even tell you how many over the counter treatments and prescriptions that I have tried to use to treat my yeast infections. It was really terrible; I would feel ok for a few days but never really better in the long term. I was literally forced to find a way to care for my infections all on my own, not because my doctor wouldn’t help me; it was because I couldn’t afford to pay for the expensive treatments anymore. I found several all natural remedies and a few preventative methods too!

Cranberry: Cranberry helps to completely detoxify the body. The two ways that you can use cranberry are in a supplement that is a pill or it can be made into juice. If you are taking the pills you should know that it can turn you urine into a bright red color. That is completely normal. When drinking cranberry juice just have a few glasses and you will get the detoxifying benefits from it. It doesn’t matter how you take it, whether it is in pill form or if you are drinking the juice.

Yogurt- This is an easy treatment and it can be used in three different ways. First of all you should be eating some every day as it will help to get some of its good bacteria inside the vagina. Other ways that it can be used are to smooth some on to the vulva if you are having issues with sensitivity or burning feelings on the outside. If your pain and discomfort are on the inside then you could always dip a tampon into the yogurt and place it in your vagina for 30 minutes.

Garlic- It tastes good and it fights off the bad bacteria that can linger inside your body. When you are experiencing burning pain that is on the inside you may want to consider using gauze wrapped clove of garlic inside your vagina. If it hurts on the outside try grinding some up and rubbing it on.

It could be eaten, made into a paste and rubbed into the sore area or it could even be loosely wrapped in gauze and placed inside of your vagina for relief.

Get Rid Of Your Infections Permanently!

How could I have known that I was spending too much money on medications that just suppressed the symptoms of my yeast infections? It wasn’t until I saw a new doctor that I found out that there are many all natural cures for yeast infections that nobody advertises. I can understand drug companies not wanting you to know about this but why wouldn’t a responsible doctor tell you?

After consulting with the doctor I was able to determine that I wanted to find an inexpensive option that was locally available. But it also had to work quickly and be inexpensive. So with all that being said I found two different options that have really worked for me. They were highly effective in treating my current infection and whenever I have had an infection since then the duration has been nearly cut in half.

The first cure that I wanted to talk to you about was yogurt. Yes, the stuff that you eat! Before we get into the how’s of using it I want to mention that you should always look for yogurt that is 100% organic and sugar free. This is because yeast will actually thrive off of sugar and anything that has sugar in it will cause your infection to worsen.

To use yogurt as a cure you could do one of three things. You could eat some everyday as a preventative measure and to restore the pH levels in your body. You could take a clean tampon and dip it into the yogurt prior to inserting it into the vagina, just leave it in for an hour or so they take it out. Or you could even just apply some to the vulva this will soothe the burning feeling.

Lastly apple cider vinegar is great to use! I like to take a very hot bath and add two cups of the vinegar to it. Or if you don’t have time for a bath you could mix equal part water and vinegar and scrub the area with a wash cloth.

Illnesses won’t go away if don’t take a deep breath and relax or rest. My doctor has always told me that stress management is very important for fighting off infections as your body can’t fight infection if it is too busy fighting stress.

Aloe can be used as a treatment in two different ways. The first is to take a small amount of gel and rub it on the area that is irritated. Or you could drink juices that come from the plant itself. All natural yogurt is used much in the same way as aloe – eaten, applied externally or you could even dip a tampon into it and insert it in your vagina for a few minutes for internal relief. Here is a quick tip about using yogurt; always make sure the yogurt that you are using is sugar free. If not you could make your infection worse.

Acidophilus is a live bacteria that is really a GOOD bacteria. This can help to balance out the natural pH levels in the vagina and in your stomach. You can get this in pill form from your pharmacist.

A commonly used preservative found in beer or wine making stores is called potassium sorbet.

This is usually mixed with water. After that you will need to dip a tampon into the mix and wear it over night.

Early Symptoms Of Pregnancy And Testing

For some women who are trying to get pregnant the key sign to success is a missed period. But there are earlier signs you can watch out for varying from woman to woman in form and strength. Sickness can start as early as a few days in, other have bloating, and others say they have tightening feeling in the stomach.

When considering taking a home pregnancy test you need to be aware there is a timing factor and need to wait at least a fortnight after conception. Though there are sensitive tests now that can be used before a missed period, there still needs to be enough hCG in your urine to be detected. If you do opt for an early test take into account the accuracy drops to 90% from 97%. This means you may be pregnant but could still get a negative result because the hCG levels were not high enough. A re-test may be needed.

The changes that can occur during the early stage of a pregnancy include: Being very tired. Vomiting (morning sickness though it can happen any time of day). Light spotting of blood can happen 3 to 12 days after ovulation. Being bloated. Craving foods, sometimes odd combinations. Needing to pee more often. Breasts being tender to the tough, feeling swollen, and blue veins visible on them.

Some women may experience just one or two symptoms, and some may get them all. Some may experience symptoms early, some may have not experience anything until a but further in to the pregnancy. All of these symptoms are caused by the hCG and hormonal changes occurring in your body.

A home pregnancy test can help you know for sure if you are seeing signs. They are simple to use and just involve either putting a test stick into your urine stream or into a cup of your urine. After one to three minutes the results will show. Make sure your test suits you and is the right sensitivity. If you have physical signs, have missed a period, but are still getting a negative result see your doctor.

Three Preventative Steps You Can Take Against Yeast Infections

Yeast infections are also referred to as Candida or Candidosis. They are the result of the overgrowth of the Candida fungus. Many people are affected by them, old and young, men and women.

The genital area and in particular the vagina, is a perfect breeding ground for the fungus and that is why vaginal yeast infections are the most frequent type to occur. This means that though not limited to women, it is more usual for it to happen to a woman. There are several causes or triggers that lead to the overgrowth, a few mentioned here are clothing, medication, pregnancy, improper drying after bathing, incorrect wiping after a bowel movement, not changing out of wet clothing, diabetes and diet. If you have a yeast infection you should treat it as quickly as you can, as ignoring it will not help, things can get worse. In extremely rare situations if the fungus was to enter the blood and attack internal organs it can even prove fatal.

This article looks in a little more detail at clothing, diet and dryness and what you can do for preventative measures.

What you wear: The clothes and materials you wear can have a very large impact on raising or lowering your risk of yeast infection. Cotton or bamboo makes the ideal material for underwear as it allows the skin to breathe, keeping the vagina drier. Tight clothing like jeans, tight pants, panty hose and so on should be avoided or worn less often as it generates the perfect environment for the infection, warm, dark and wet.

Keep yourself dry: An easy and simple way to help prevent a yeast infection is to keep yourself dry. If the weather is hot and your underwear gets damp change it throughout the day. Do not sunbathe in a wet swimming costume, and after a workout get straight out of those sweaty exercise clothes. After your bath or shower dry the vagina thoroughly and after using the toilet make sure to wipe correctly.

Food and Drink: A poor diet is a very common trigger, particularly diets that are too high in sugar such as a diabetic might have if they are not in control of their blood sugar levels. The fungus consumes the sugar and grows further so cut out foods high in sugar, as well as junk, processed and yeasty foods. Drink lots of water each day to flush your body out and eat things that will help your immune system to perform such as green vegetables, cranberry juice and more Vitamin C.
